End-User License Agreement for Keycap

Effective Date: August 29, 2026

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Lucky Ali Khan ("Licensor") for the use of Keycap ("the App").

By installing or using Keycap, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

This EULA supplements the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). Where this EULA and the Standard EULA conflict, this EULA governs, except that nothing here purports to reduce any right Apple's terms grant you.

Note: If you are distributing Keycap through the App Store and have not chosen to supply a custom EULA in App Store Connect, Apple's Standard EULA applies automatically and this document is optional. It is provided so that the terms specific to Keycap — the third-party licences in Section 4, and the disclaimer in Section 7 — are stated somewhere you control.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA, Lucky Ali Khan grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Keycap on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and by the Usage Rules in the Standard EULA.

2. Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, licence, or attribution notice in the App — including the third-party credits described in Section 4
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

3. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and documentation, is and remains the property of Lucky Ali Khan, except for the third-party components identified in Section 4. This EULA grants you a licence to use the App, not ownership of it.

Feedback and suggestions you volunteer about the App may be used without obligation to you.

4. Third-Party Components

Keycap bundles material licensed from others. Your licence to use Keycap includes the right to use these components as part of the App, on their own terms:

The App credits the corpus under Settings › About, and credits the author and licence of whichever key switch you have selected under Settings › Keyboard sound. Full notices accompany the source in NOTICE.md.

Nothing in this EULA overrides those licences. Where a term here conflicts with the licence governing a third-party component, that licence governs that component.

5. Updates

Lucky Ali Khan may release updates to the App. We are not obligated to provide updates, maintenance, or support. Apple has no such obligation either.

6. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your devices. You may terminate this EULA at any time by deleting the App.

Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10 survive termination.

7. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. PRINCE ALI KHAN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT PRACTICE HISTORY STORED ON YOUR DEVICE WILL NOT BE LOST.

Keycap is a typing-practice tool. It is not a medical, diagnostic, or ergonomic device, and the figures it reports are measurements of typing, not health advice. Practice prose written by the on-device language model may be inaccurate and is not a source of fact.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PRINCE ALI KHAN BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50).

Where local law does not permit these exclusions, they apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Apple's Role

You and Lucky Ali Khan acknowledge that this EULA is between you and Lucky Ali Khan only, not with Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Specifically:

• Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App.
• In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, and intellectual property infringement claims.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce it against you.

10. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of India. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which you reside.
